Menu

Well last week I stayed under $100. Yippee, I came in around $93! We even bought extra water (we are water snobs so cheap water is out sadly, we are so picky it's really a Dasani only fam, but we make do with yuckwafina ((hehe)) when it's on sale)

This week, I hope I'm doing better on price watching and posting. I did drive into Bellingham to shop at Winco. Seems worth it, there was enough money left over for the man to get a 12 pack of beer.

This weeks menu:

Meat Loaf, mashed potatoes and green beans
Buffalo Chicken, Salad and fries
Turkey Roll ups with Spuds and Green Beans
Cauliflower Bake with Salad
Fancy Ham and Egg Samis
Pasta
Left overs

Most of these items were made from the "pantry". Which is a great way to keep things moving in your pantry and freezer to make room for more and to keep them from being icky.

My list to make the above was:
Cauliflower = 2.69 (.98 a lb)
Lettuce = 1.68
Onion = .77 (.48lb)
Chicken = 11.84 (large pack at 2 lb)
Eggs = 1.58
Ham = 4.25 (only half the pack is for the weekly meal, the other half is for freezer)
Bread Crumbs = .94
Sourdough bread = 2.28
Garlic Powder = 4.55
2 Gallons Whole Milk = 5.20
Canned green beans = .96 (.48 each)
Cheese = 5.78 (2lbs)

Pantry Items:
Tuna = 2.64 (.88 each)
Canned Mixed Veggies = .48
Canned Corn = .48
Paper towels = 5.97
Foil Containers = 1.78
Foil Containers = 1.55
lemon juice = 1.78
2 cases water = 8.76

Freezer Meals:
Farmers Casserole
Colorado Beef Enchiladas

list:
4 Lb cheese = 11.56
Tortillas = 1.88
Green Salsa 16 oz = 1.68
30 Oz red enchilada sauce = 1.71
30 oz green enchilada sauce = 1.71
24 oz hashbrowns = 1.48 (30oz)
ham (see above)

My total for everything was 89.19 Yippee!
