Beer Braised Bacon Burgers

When one has a freezer full of Grass-Fed Beef, one need recipes to highlight the amazing flavor. I'm in beef heaven.

Burgers:
10 Slices Smoky Bacon
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
2 TBS Worcestershire Sauce
1/8-1/4 cup minced onion
1/2 cup Dark Stout Beer

Sauce:
1/2 cup sour cream
1 TBS hot horseradish prepared
3 TBS Dijon mustard

Fixins:
Lettuce
Red Onion
Cheese, the sharper the better
Buns
Preheat oven to 325* and cook 8 sliced of bacon until crispy roughly 25 minutes

In a large skillet ad a drizzle of olive oil, and two slices CHOPPED bacon, cook until crispy, remove bacon from pan to drain.

To prep burger, mix beef, Worcestershire, onion and chopped bacon. Form into 4-5 burgers (I did 4)
Place into the hot pan with bacon fat. Cook flipping once, to your liking (Mine end up about 6-7 minutes per side)
Once burgers are about done, add beer and top meat with cheese.

While the burgers are cooking make your sauce by combining the ingredients listed under SAUCE. SO good, totally amazing sauce.

Dress burger buns with meat, sauce and fixings and EAT.

I served this to my Husbands parents and they enjoyed it! I can totally see making it again.
