Sounds Fancy right? Pretty tasty AND easy!
Ingredients -
Top Sirloin Steak - about 3/4 inch thick- or thinner
Dijon Mustard - about 2 Tbs
about 1/2-1 1/2 cups fresh mushrooms
1/4 cup dry red wine
olive oil
Seasonal veggies (go local!)
about 1/4 cup mayo
horseradish to taste
Method-
in a medium skillet heat a little oil.
brush steaks with mustard
cook until desired done-ness- turning only once
(should take about 10 minutes per side)
remove meat
in the same pan, toss mushrooms and a bit more oil, saute about 3-5 min, stir in wine and cook an additional 3-5 minutes, stirring, to mix in pan drippings.
top steak with mushrooms and sauce
for veggies -
I steamed Broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, carrots and a few fingerling potatoes (purple red and yellow) till crisp tender
meanwhile mix mayo and horseradish.
top hot veggies with sauce
