Penne Arrabbiata

This recipe is a spicy twist to traditional Marinara. This is a warm dish so you may want to add less red pepper flakes.

1 lb pasta
1-3 TBS olive oil or water
5 cloves of Garlic, minced
1 TSP red pepper flakes
1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste
**if you like it more sauce like add 1 can Tomato sauce (8 oz or 15 oz) but know this will dilute the spicy flavor.

Add pasta to boiling water and cook until Al dente or just a bit more done.

Heat oil in a frying pan and add garlic and pepper flakes and saute about 3 minutes.

Add tomatoes and stir to mix and heat 10-15 minutes (if adding additional "sauce" add in half way through and heat until warm)

Spoon tomato mixture over pasta sauce and enjoy!

Also as a review I think I liked it better before made exactly as the recipe states, loads more flavor. HOWEVER my other half LOVED it with all the extra saucy goodness.
