TACOS!

What is the difference between a burrito and taco? Well from the people I have asked tacos are with veggies and burritos aren't, fascinating. For me I thought beans made it a burrito but it's neither her nor there in reality.


For simplicity we had tacos. There are again a bagillion ways to make these, make omni, vegan, you name it! 
Here's what I had, which made enough for 2 for me and lunch the next day (the DH used everything but the faux meat)
2 Morningstar Farms Chipotle Black bean burger
4 sprouted whole wheat tortillas
1 tomato, diced
1/4 onion, diced
4-5 leaved lettuce chopped (we ended up needing more)
olives


Method:
Defrosted the patties, torn them up and tossed them into a skillet to brown breaking them up as i went. Added a sprinkling of  taco seasoning.
Topped with fresh veggies and used a little Cashew Chipotle cream to hold them together.


Y-U-M. So simple took less than 20 minutes from fridge to belly and it was a wonderful dinner

**I know the picture probably doesn't look like the tortilla was very full but man two of them made me stuffed! Granted the second one was a little more full...

  1. I love the "from frig to belly" expression! Those sprouted wheat tortillas look wonderful, and the ingredients sound so yummy!

  2. Thanks! The tortillas are about the only ones I like the taste of and they aren't "gritty" for being sprouted..
