What do you do when you have a few lasagna noodles left over? make roll ups of coarse.
Cooked lasagna noodles
1 field roast sausage (apple wood sage)
1-2 cups mushrooms
garlic powder, salt, basil, oregano (you choose)
1 can diced tomatoes
1/2 cup or so cream
Parmesan cheese
IN a skillet brown sausage and mushrooms, then add tomatoes and any other seasonings that may sound good. stir in cream, get warm, then add about 1/2 cup parm. roll into cool noodles and bake in the oven about 20 minutes.
Considering this was a total "whip up with what you have on hand" we were both impressed. Obviously lots of room for other embellishments, but we enjoyed it as is.
