Old World Crock Pot Chicken

A whole chicken, skinned and cut into 4 hunks
1 TBS Oregano
1 Tsp Paprika
1 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Yellow onion, thinly sliced
2 Green peppers, thinly sliced

In a small bowl mix all seasonings until thoroughly blended.
Place peppers and onion in the bottom of the crock pot.
Layer with Chicken leg halves. And sprinkle with half the seasoning, then top with breast halves and sprinkle with rest of the seasoning.
Cook on low for 8 hours (high for 4).
Just before serving, stir in 1/3 cup ketchup.

The recipe calls for being served over noodles, but as the boys are on a carb light phase of eating right now (for 2 more weeks) they ate it as is, with a small slice of sourdough and the Butternut Soup that was my main dish.
